Silicon carbide bricks can be divided into oxide-bonded silicon carbide bricks, mullite silicon carbide bricks, and corundum silicon carbide bricks.

Applications of Silicon Carbide Refractory Bricks

1.Application in the metallurgical industry. Silicon carbide bricks are suitable for special parts of furnaces. For example, in the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, it is mostly used in trays, blast furnaces, etc. of tower rectification furnaces.

2.Application in the steel industry. Silicon carbide bricks are mostly used for the inner lining of steel drums, iron sinks, steel-tapping openings of electric furnaces, and waterless cold slides in heating furnaces.

3.Application in the ceramic & glass industry. Silicon carbide bricks are mostly used in flame plates, kiln furniture, high temperature burners of ceramic kilns, annealing furnace lining of glass furnaces and cooling units of cement rotary kilns.
