High-alumina poly-light bricks, also known as high-alumina poly-light ball bricks, are produced by using special grade blast furnace materials as the main raw material, supplemented by appropriate admixtures, and using poly-light burning method. The product has the advantages of high strength, good thermal stability, small change of heavy burnt fiber and small thermal conductivity. AL2O3 content is more than 60%, fire resistance temperature is 1600 degrees, specific gravity is 0.4-1.35, porosity is 0.66-0.73, and compressive strength is 1-8MPA.
Applications of High-alumina poly light brick
High alumina insulation bricks are made of burned bauxite with little clay under temperature of 1500℃. As a kind of essential refractory for energy saving and temperature preservation, the alumina insulating brick is used as lining and insulation layer of various industrial kilns & furnaces as glass furnace and iron&steel industry.
